(Example question: comparison between BiCMOS and CMOS) - Pull-up to Pull-down Ratio for nMOS inverter & Ids versus Vds Relationships (both are imp)
- CMOS Inverter, Bi-CMOS Inverter (both are imp) (anyone question will come)
- lds versus Vds Relationships & VLSI Design Flow (frequently asking question)
(Most of the questions will come from above only and if you have time then you can consider “Layout Diagrams for MOS circuits”)
UNIT-II
- Switch logic, Gate logic (imp question)
- Limitations of scaling (imp) (most of the time it has been asked in exams)
- Propagation Delays, Inverter Delays (both are imp)
(Example questions: Explain about inverter delay and propagation delay) - Scaling models and scaling factors (very imp)
- Sheet Resistance, & prepare some sums from unit-2
(If you have time try to prepare the remaining concepts)
UNIT-III
- CB, CE, CC amplifier (these are very imp questions)
(Example question: comparison between CB, CE, CC amplifier) - Single stage amplifier with resistive load & Diode connected load
(Example question: Explain the operation of single stage amplifier with diode connected load) - Operation of MOSFET (very imp question)

- SR Master Slave register & Master-Slave Based Edge Triggered Register (high chances that any one question will come)

(Example question: Write short notes on Complementary CMOS Logic) - Cascading Dynamic Gates & Clocked CMOS register (imp)
- Ultra Deep-Submicron Era & setup time, hold time
UNIT-V
- TFET & FinFET (imp)
